Indigiquip is proud to be contributing to the Tanami Road upgrade project with the hire of three mine-spec vehicles. This project is one of the most significant roadworks in the Kimberley, designed to improve connectivity, safety, and reliability for communities, freight, and industry across the region.

By supplying three vehicles to the project, Indigiquip is ensuring supervisors and crews have access to reliable, compliant transport capable of handling the harsh remote conditions. Each vehicle has been fitted out to meet strict mine-spec requirements.

Supporting Local Capacity

As an Indigenous-owned and managed company, Indigiquip’s involvement goes beyond supplying vehicles. Our role in the Tanami Road project strengthens the presence of local Indigenous businesses in major infrastructure works. This approach ensures that more of the economic benefit remains in the Kimberley, supporting local jobs, skills development, and community growth.

A Focus on Reliability

Remote projects like the Tanami Road demand equipment that can handle long distances, corrugated roads, and challenging weather. Indigiquip’s fleet has been selected with durability and reliability in mind, reducing downtime and keeping the project moving forward.

Building for the Future

This project is another step in Indigiquip’s journey of delivering premium hire solutions to the mining, construction, and government sectors. By working on landmark infrastructure like the Tanami Road, we continue to prove the capability of Indigenous businesses to deliver quality, reliable services on par with national providers, while maintaining our strong connection to Country and community.
